Captain Chet

Captain Chet was brought up in the neighboring town of Westwego, Louisiana. From an early childhood, Captain Chet can’t recall a time when he wasn’t in a boat or surrounded by fishing culture, which is a direct result of being raised on this bayou! Any time Chet was with his dad, an experienced charter fisherman, fishing is what they bonded over and something he always looked forward to. Many years and industries later, while guiding on the side for his Dad’s company, Captain Chet decided to take charter fishing full time with Bourgeois Fishing Charters and hasn’t looked back!

Chet’s favorite fish to target is the Louisiana redfish and swears by bait shrimp or the faithful gold spoon!
