Captain Bobby B

Captain Bobby B grew up in Marrero, Louisiana and has been fishing the Barataria Basin since the 60’s as a young boy spending a lot of time with his family at a camp they owned out in the marsh. It was the Bourgeois Family that influenced him to make a career of the sport in 1999. 

Preparing for a day of fishing, Captain Bobby always checks the tide, time and ranges along with wind direction to determine likely locations to find clear water. 

Captain Bobby’s ideal fishing is for Speckled Trout with his favorite Popping cork plastic lures. He explains that in order to become a better fisherman, one must always stay positive and never give up. Stay patient, and if one thing is not working, try something different.
